BAMPAC Winter 2005 Bulletin
As George W. Bush embarks on his second term as president, he faces a divided country and a political landscape that has changed dramatically since he first took the oath of office in 2001. The terrorist attacks on America on September 11th, 2001 quickly changed the focus of his agenda from domestic reforms to a global war on terrorism. In his second term, President Bush will undoubtedly continue the war on terror but also will focus on domestic areas, where he has set forth a far-reaching conservative agenda. These efforts will go a long way in determining the legacy of his presidency.
