(BAMPAC) In a statement
released today, BAMPAC
announced that it will
host a hospitality suite
at the Democratic National
Convention in Los Angeles,
CA.
According to BAMPAC
Executive Director Alvin
Williams, "The purpose
of the hospitality suite
is to provide candidates,
elected officials, delegates,
and others with information
on BAMPAC and its mission,
and also to provide an
opportunity to share
their vision for America
as it relates to African
Americans and Americans
generally. The conventions
offer an excellent opportunity
for candidates and the
community to develop
a comfort level that
will, ultimately, empower
the community to make
informed decisions when
entering the voting booth." The
hospitality suite will
be located within the "W" Hotel,
at 930 Hilgard Avenue,
Los Angeles.
BAMPAC is a non-partisan
federal Political Action
Committee founded in

primarily mobilize African
American candidates,
as well as other candidates
generally, who have common
sense approaches to important
