Voters Put Republicans In Control Of Government

In what is being described as a stunning repudiation of liberalism throughout America, voters sent a clear and loud signal to policy makers that they have had enough. BAMPAC candidates around the country were elected resoundingly to bring strong conservative polices back to governing and get hard working Americans back to work.

Among the number of BAMPAC candidates that earned voters trust, Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) and Sen. Pat Toomey (R-PA) held off their liberal opponents to help maintain control of the U.S. Senate and ensure the Supreme Court balance would not shift.  In fact, the Senate only lost two seats and will head into the next election cycle in a stronger position than 2016.

Conservatives in the Senate now control 52 seats and can now plan to move an aggressive agenda that will put the country back on the right economic path.  The most important issue before the Senate will be approving a successor to the late Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia.  Liberals had hoped to appoint one of their own and change the makeup of the court for a generation.  Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) balked at appointing a new justice during a national campaign, which is tradition that dates back decades, and instead said he wanted to leave it to the next president.

Over in the House of Representatives, BAMPAC candidates did very well.  Rep. Will Hurd (R-TX), who had one of the toughest congressional districts in the country, was reelected by a small margin, but proved conservatives principles still matter.  A number of other Congressional members that BAMPAC support won reelection and preserved conservative control of the U.S. House.  Republicans only lost 6 seats; a far cry from the 20 liberals spent millions to pick up.  Rep. Barbara Comstock (R-VA) was also reelected in a very difficult district.  Rep. Comstock’s victory shows ideas matter.  With 238 congressional seats, conservatives can set an agenda that advances small government ideas, while exerting smart influence around the globe.

BAMPAC is proud of the support it provided to candidates around the country at all levels of government.  Without your support, BAMPAC would have been severely limited.  To all our supporters, we say Thank You.  You made the difference and now we move forward, together, as one nation.
