The new Congress is underway and the president is still playing from the same old playbook. With the might of a pen, the president has declared he will veto legislation creating jobs, while robbing us of our chance to strengthen our energy independence and finally free ourselves of our dependence on foreign oil.
The new Congress has agreed to pass legislation resetting the 40 hour work, while the president declares he will veto the job saving bill so he can protect his precious Obamacare. This change to the law would help small business keep their employees, and continue to grow their businesses.
None of this matters to the liberals or the president. They continue to promote their failed policies and have notified the American people they intend to pass laws without Congress. Their myopic view of how our country works is void of the constitution, but encompasses the heavy hand of government in every part of our lives.
The fact that the American people have duly elected a new Congress is lost on liberals and the president. The good news is the American people have seen this movie before and expect their Congress to change the direction we are headed in and chart a path towards real economic growth and prosperity. The president may not care that we have a new Congress; we do.
